8. Who is eligible for these plans?
- All Prepaid customers are eligible to activate the Prepaid Roam Easy Caribbean Plans.
- N.B. Corporate customers will NOT be able to activate these plans or roaming rates
9. Does the customer need to activate the plan before leaving local/home country?
- No Pre-activation required before arrival in roaming destination, customers can activate any Roam Easy Caribbean Plans from any of the eligible destinations.
- Customers can activate via My Digicel App at any eligible destinations or dial the USSD code (*147# or *153#) if the roaming party supports the UMM.
10. Is there a limit to the number of plans customer can activate?
- There is no limit to the number activations of plans. Customers can buy multiple of same or other Roam Easy Caribbean plans at any given time and rollover their roaming data.
11. Does the Roam Easy Caribbean Plans auto- renew?
- The Prepaid Roam Easy Caribbean Plans will NOT automatically auto- renewal.
12. If the customer wants the roaming plan to auto-renew can they opt-in to auto-renewal?
- Prepaid customers should receive expiry notification 2 days and 1 day before plan expiry. Except for the 3 day plan a notification should be receives 24 hours before plans expire. No opt-in option will be given to customer. They will be able to activate a new plan via the UMM (*147#) and My Digicel App.
13. Will customer receive a prompt if they have used up the plan allocations?
- Yes, In the event the data allotments are exhausted before the scheduled notification period, a prompt will be sent with an invitation to purchase a new plan.
- Customers will receive the below data notifications advising when data allotment will soon be exhausted:

14. If the customer purchases multiple roaming plans will the data roll over?
- Data will rollover once the customer repurchases a Roam Easy Caribbean plan. Data rolled over will take the validity of the longest plan.
- Data rollover can occur for the following scenarios:
- Roam Easy Caribbean Plan --> Roam Easy Caribbean Plan
- If the customer purchases a Roam Easy Caribbean and an International Roaming plan both bundle data allotments will remain on the customer’s account separately. If the customer is roaming in the Caribbean the Caribbean roaming data will be use first then the International roaming data.
15. If the customer is not on a roaming plan will they be charge to receive calls?
- Yes customers without a roaming plan and roaming in a Caribbean destination will be charge $32 per min for incoming calls.
16. Will customer be notified for plan rollover or plan expiry?
- Yes, plan rollover and expiry notifications will be sent. Customers can repurchase the same Prepaid Roam Easy Caribbean plan before it expires.

17. Will customers be charged for data if they continue a data session, after the bundle has been depleted?
- When the roaming data allotments are exhausted, customer will not be able to continue streaming until they have activated another Roam Easy Caribbean Plan or opt-in to PayGo data rates at USD$0.20 ($24 per MB of Data).
- A PayGo Pop Up Wall will appear and prompt the customer to either opt-in to PayGo data overage usage at USD$0.20 ($24) per MB or activate another Roam Easy Caribbean Plan.
Customer will receive the below pop up once the bundle has been exhausted:
18. Can Digi-loan credit be used to purchase the Prepaid Roam Easy Caribbean Plan?
- Customers will be able to use Digi-loan credit to purchase the Prepaid Easy Roam Caribbean Roaming Plans.
19. Can customer benefit from the Roam Easy Caribbean plan in their home country?
- No, benefits of the Roam Easy Caribbean Plan are not accessible in the home country.
Customer will receive the below message:
“Oops! No Digicel roaming plans for this region. Stay in touch using standard roaming rates for calls and data. Click https://bit.ly/Digiroam for more info.”
Note: Prepaid customers roaming in a country not listed as an eligible roaming plan destination will be doing standard roaming whether or not a roaming plan is active.
20. If a customer needs assistance, how do they contact customer care?
- Dial 1876 380 7626(ROAM) for Customer Care when on a plan the overage of $24 per mins and without a plan standard roaming rate applies- $32 per min.
- Use the MyDigicel app, tap Ruby to speak with an agent (use your bonus 100MB MyDigicel data).
21. How do customers get to Voicemail while roaming?
- Dial 1876 380 0000 to get to their voicemail-
- N.B. Receiving Voice mail will be FREE whether in-plan call or standard roaming.
- Contacting voicemail while roaming will be charged at the overage rate of $24 per mins and without a plan standard roaming rate applies- $32 per min.
22. Where do customers find the Ruby in the My Digicel App?
- Customer will be able to find Ruby on the home page select support OR select red smiley face at the upper right hand cover of the MY Digicel APP, see the below:
23. What happens to the existing USA & Caribbean Roam Plans?
- Upon the launch of the New International Roam plans and Caribbean Roaming plans, the legacy USA & Caribbean and the Old Roam Easy Roaming plans will not be available for activation. The following will happen:
- Plan will no longer be available in the UMM Menu, USSD, My Digicel App, Website
- Subscriber with active legacy USA & Caribbean or the old Roam Easy Roaming plans will still have access to use the plan until its original expiration date. These subscribers will not be able to renew these legacy plans.
24. Which network can a customer roaming in the Caribbean connect to?
- Customer roaming in the Caribbean can connect to any Digicel Network, once they are roaming in one of the destination above.
