If your bill balance is higher than what you are accustomed to, the following factors should be considered:
- Late fee
- International Charges
- Other Charges
- Roaming Charges
1. Late fee
This is a fixed amount that is charged to a customer’s account as of the 30th of the month, once the grace period has elapsed and no payment is reflecting on the customer’s account. The late fee amount charged is $250+GCT.
2. International Charges
Calls made to international destinations are only covered under the following Prime Plans: the Prime Core Plan (60 minutes -USA, Can, UK mobile) and Prime Plus Plan (Unlimited USA & Can & UK mobile only). This means that if you are on the Prime Intro and Prime Start Plans, international transactions will therefore be shown separately on your bill. You will be able to see the date/time calls were made, and the respective charges.
NB: Our Postpaid Plans do not cover messages sent to international numbers.
3. Other Charges
These are transactions made outside your bundle allotment or once your bundle has been fully exhausted.
It is important to note that some transactions (Credit U & Add-ons) can surpass your Credit Limit. For example, if your Credit Limit is $5000, it is possible for this to be exceeded as a result of Credit U transactions or Add-on purchases.
4. Roaming Charges
Once you are roaming without an active roaming plan, you will incur charges for all outgoing and incoming transactions (calls, messages, and data). If you are on a Roaming Bundle Plan, these rates will be reduced. Once your data bundle has been exhausted, you will not be able to continue data roaming. As a postpaid customer, you will have the option of doing an early renewal of your Roaming plan. Once the Roaming Bundle has expired, calls, text messages and data will not work.
If you are NOT on a Roaming Plan, you will be charged for incoming transactions.
If call divert is enabled on your device, ALL calls going to voicemail will be charged whether or not you are on a Roaming Plan.
