A recycled number is a mobile number which was previously owned by a Digicel customer, and due to a lengthy period of inactivity (usually 120 days + the allotted airtime of the last top up that was done), the number expired and has been re-used. If you have an expired number, you are required to get a new sim card; the expired sim cannot be replaced. To see the airtime allotment for each voucher denomination, or to check the status of your airtime, click here.
If you are in possession of a recycled number, you may receive unsolicited calls/text messages.
You can choose to:
- Block the number on your phone.
- Install True Caller App to block spam/unwanted calls or text messages. Download it here.
- Get a new sim card. Sim cards can be purchased at Digicel retail stores. A new sim card costs $583, inclusive of General Consumption Tax (GCT).
